How the Dallas Cowboys Are Using EMSCULPT NEO for Athlete Recovery and Conditioning
When professional athletes are pushing their bodies to perform at the highest level, recovery, muscle conditioning, and physical readiness become just as important as training. That is why advanced technologies continue to play a growing role in professional sports.
In June 2026, BTL announced a collaboration with the Dallas Cowboys, introducing EMSCULPT NEO as part of the team’s athlete recovery and conditioning program.
The Dallas Cowboys have incorporated EMSCULPT NEO into their athlete recovery and conditioning program to support player rehabilitation, recovery, strength, and performance.

For a professional football team, where athletes repeatedly place significant demands on their muscles, having additional tools available for conditioning and recovery can be an important part of a broader sports-performance program. Britt Brown, Dallas Cowboys Associate Athletic Trainer & Director of Rehabilitation, described the technology as providing a different approach to stimulating and strengthening muscles.
How Does EMSCULPT NEO Work?
EMSCULPT NEO combines radiofrequency (RF) heating with patented HIFEM energy to stimulate powerful supramaximal muscle contractions. This technology engages deep muscle groups that are difficult to activate voluntarily while increasing circulation, helping enhance muscle activation, conditioning, and functional muscle re-education.

EMSCULPT NEO can also help with Relaxation of Muscle Spasms, Prevention or Retardation of Disuse Atrophy, Increasing Local Blood Circulation, Immediate Post-surgical Stimulation of Calf Muscles to Prevent Venous Thrombosis, and Maintaining or Increasing Range of Motion.

“The way we approach rehabilitation and recovery has always been of the upmost importance. It is critical to our entire team and part of today’s competitive landscape,” said Britt Brown, Dallas Cowboys Associate Athletic Trainer & Director of Rehabilitation. “EMSCULPT NEO stimulates and strengthens muscles in a completely different way. Teaming with BTL to bring this technology to our players now provides an impactful addition to how we support player health and performance.”
From Professional Sports to Functional Wellness
The Dallas Cowboys partnership also illustrates how technologies originally associated with aesthetic medicine can have applications that extend into broader wellness and functional care.
At the Center for Regenerative & Aesthetic Wellness, we are interested in the role that muscle health and physical function can play in overall wellness. Maintaining muscle strength and activity is an important consideration throughout adulthood, particularly as people experience changes associated with aging, injury, or periods of reduced activity.
EMSCULPT NEO may be incorporated into a broader wellness or functional treatment approach based on an individual’s goals and needs.

Whether your interest is muscle conditioning, body contouring, or learning more about the technology, our team can explain how EMSCULPT NEO works and whether it may be appropriate for your individual goals.
